Wow, this blog is really been neglected! Ben's 40th birthday, Rebecca's wedding, Ines and Uwe's 3 week visit, Thanksgiving and Christmas . . . Whew! Obviously, it has been a busy season and no sign of it getting better in the weeks and months to come. I'm preparing to apply to nursing school and it is all starting to get really overwhelming and real. My exams are a particular stress right now, because I feel like it will be pulling teeth to study for. . . and tests are really not something I ever look forward to.
Maggie, however, is happy-go-lucky as ever, though recently has been very restless at home and anxious to start back to school. She asks me almost every day if she can go. I think she gets lonely. Being an only child can be that way sometimes, I think.
She never really holds on to a bad mood for long though and even on a rainy day, I can count on her to be my sunny girl.
I'm starting a project that is kind of fun that I will link to this blog and will be, hopefully, act as an inspiration to me to blog here more often. It is 365 days of pictures, one a day, for the next year until January 2nd (since I started a day late, ooops). Should be fun and I've already got one of my latest obsession, the Twilight series, and Maggie's art project of the day, foam depictions of my sis and Aidan, very cute.
